I have a number of different 'retro Edison' bulbs in my home now. I have just swapped one of those for this marbled-style bulb, and it looks even more beautiful than the rest. The effect is seamlessly bonded into the glass, and it doesn't seem to affect the overall light output in any appreciable way – other than making the filaments less dazzling to look at. More importantly, it looks like I've time-travelled and found the most stylish lightbulbs ever made in the early 20th century! I'll definitely be ordering more of these.
